2023 Southwest Regional Championships

Strokes Admin

Oakland Strokes competed at the Southwest Regional Championships May 4-7th. As the last regular season regatta, athletes had the chance to race crews from throughout the entire region. The team raced hard throughout the 3 day regatta, qualifying multiple boats for the Youth National Championships.

Oakland Strokes had 13 top four finishes during the weekend:

Men’s Youth 8+ : 3rd place

Men’s 2V 8+ : 1st place

Men’s 3V 8+ : 1st place

Men’s U17 2x: 2nd place

Men’s U16 2x : 4th place

Men’s Youth 4- : 1st place

Women’s Youth 4- : 1st place

Women’s 2V 8+ : 3rd place

Women’s U17 8+ : 3rd place

Women’s U17B 8+ : 3rd place

Women’s U16 8+ : 2nd place

Women’s U16 4+ : 1st place
