San Diego Crew Classic 2024

Oakland Strokes traveled down to San Diego last week for an exciting weekend of racing. The San Diego Crew Classic offers a unique racing experience on Mission Bay, with racing for high school, collegiate, and masters athletes.

Oakland traveled 8 boats total: Men’s and Women’s Varsity 8+’s, Men’s and Women’s JV 8+’s, Men’s and Women’s U17 8’s, a Women’s U16 8+ and a Men’s U16 4x+.

The athletes raced in heats on Saturday, earning their lanes to compete in the Finals on Sunday.

Oakland Strokes raced hard and performed well through the regatta. Highlights from the weekend include first place in the Women’s U16 8+.
